I had so much fun with the pears but those darn leaves gave me all kinds of trouble. Gotta work on that brush technique! One thing to note, I was uses Arches Aquarelle hot pressed paper, 140 lb but when I laid down color it looked like the paper was pilling. However, when the color dried it did dry even and flat.

OCC WATERCOLORS FOR CARDMAKERS: INTERMEDIATE
If you haven't signed up for this class and you have any desire to use watercolors on your cards or just want to learn some new techniques, I can't recommend this class enough. Dawn Woleslagle from Wplus9 is not only an artist but a wonderful teacher. Most importantly, this class is FUN! For the first day I wanted to try the pears but didn't have a pear stamp so I hand drew a pear on craft board, cut it out and used it as a template.
